I wish I had one when I was a kid! So far, the battery usually lasts at least a 1/2 hour or about two miles. There's two speeds for forward and one for reverse. The slow speed goes a little slower than normal walking speed and the fast speed goes about as fast as a slow jogging speed. I like that there's a screw to lock out the faster speed for younger kids (late 2 early 3?). I think this Jeep is good for kids between late 2 - 5 our 6ish? My son just turned 4 and I think he's perfect size for it (of course I do). See the attached video. We've already been riding it for about a half hour at that point. It was on the fast speed and going about normal walking speed. The battery does slowly drain so it does give you a heads-up that its starting to run low on battery. I don't know exactly how long it takes to fully charge it but it's at least a few hours. You do need to assemble the Jeep but if you're good with directions, it's pretty straight forward. It took at least an hour to set up.

Ride on cars are a great way to hone fine and motor skill development. Getting in and out of the car requires a skill set from the gross motor department while driving and using the controls is a great way to practice those fine motor skills. Together the movements of getting in and operating this ride on car are great practice for many developmental skills.

The FM radio with MP3 player input works to allow your kid to enjoy their tunes as they cruise along at 5mph. The Kid Trax Dodge Viper offers rubber traction strip tires which will grip any surface. Driving the Dodge Viper SRT 12V Ride-on  with the Kid Trax direct connect 6 volt charging system it is easy to operate. The battery and charger are included.
Get ready to roll in superior style with the Rollplay 6V BMW I8 electric car for kids! this battery-operated ride-on sports car is the perfect choice for young riders who already know luxury. So while my kids & I have a blast with it, I still have mixed feelings because we so rarely use it. And they don't really ask for it either. It's a pain to pull out, a pain to store it, and a pain to keep charged up. I have an oversized lot (huge yard, fairly flat), yet it's not even enough, and it's frustrating for everyone as the Jeep gets stuck on a stick or a clump of grass. We have a blast taking it to the neighborhood playground, but loading it up is a chore (I have to take the rear seat out of the minivan in order to transport it). I have a feeling for many people, this is like the exercise machines that get used once or twice then get forgotten.

Want to your kids to experience the thrill of riding an ATV right on your backyard? Here is an awesome, real life looking ATV, and suited to slightly rougher terrain than most electric cars we looked at. 12 volts of power, two speeds forwards through the realistic twist grip speed selector (gas pedal is on the floor), and a reverse mode, this option is good for many hours worth of playtime.
My daughter likes this car but not at the beginning. Using the remote control works well since she cannot reach the pedals yet. the only issue is that when you go forward or backward, in the low speed, it jerks quick and hard. The first time I put my daughter in it and went to drive forward that hard jerk motion scared her and I had to take her out. She was scared of it and would not get back on it for maybe two months. She is okay with the jerking now. Now I must say that she was only a year and a few months old when I bought it so she was very small. Other than that, I think it's a really good product for a really good price. I'm happy and would recommend it to others.
Respect – you wouldn’t think that this is a huge issue with a toy, but you will find that you can teach your young one how to respect their own property and the property of others. What you will want to do is to teach them how to maintain and clean their car after they’ve gone for a trip. Imagine that they’ve driven right through a muddy puddle, and they expect you to hose down the tires and wipe off the flanks of the car for your kids– stop right there. Here is where you get the cleaning materials ready and show them how to treat their toy with respect, to clean it right after they’ve had their playtime. You can give them a cloth and a miniature bucket of water, and get them to wipe off all of the dirty edges. This might even mold them better drivers. Because they will want to avoid driving in messy puddles (unlikely, but you never know).

Now heres a Jeep Wrangler for two, and sturdy enough to have two 5 year-olds exploring the garden in no time. The 12-volt battery supply does increase the drive able time considerably over 6 volt cars, and this jeep can get to 5 mph, and features a reverse mode. The styling for this miniature Jeep is quite realistic and it looks exactly like the real thing, of course minus the Disney Frozen colors along with the graphics.

Children are excited when they see the ATV in real because they are so fun, however, they are also quite dangerous for kids this young even as passengers. No need to worry because this little vehicle gives them all the fun of a motorized car without the harm. The Li’l Quad is perfectly safe for toddlers because it is made especially for them from the slow speed to the low frame of the vehicle. Kids can get on and off very easily with the help of the comfortable foot rests on both sides. This vehicle only goes forward to increase the safety for the wee ones. It has easy access to the push button to make it go because that is operated right from the handlebars. The construction is extremely sturdy and the camo graphics and design make it seem even more rugged for the rough-and-tumble types. Operation is by a six volt battery that is included. This Power Wheels vehicle is fabulous for boys or girls who love adventure.

I purchased this for my 2 year old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it!! The remote control works great since she hasn't learned to steer by herself. Even my 9 year old thinks it's fun to ride it, of course his knees go up to his chin but it still pulls him around. I have gotten so many compliments on it and asked where I purchased it from. I was worried that it wasn't a power wheels but this is better than any power wheels we have owned in the past
For an outdoor model this minature car will be able to take your boy into the depths of nature. The push reverse button makes changing up direction very easy, and having real rear mirrors can teach your child how to reverse safely and accurately! The plastic engine in front is an exceptionally cute accessory that makes the car seem that much more authentic.
This one from Razor features an incredible 350-watt electric power to give your kid’s vehicle enough juice to slice through the harshest terrain and reach a commendable speed of 9 miles per hour. It takes several hours to charge its two 12-volt rechargeable battery of sealed lead acid which should give your kid sufficient continuous playtime of about 40 minutes. Its high torque, variable speed, chain-driven motor gives your child a feel of what’s it like to drive one of these iconic mobiles. Perhaps for Dad, it will bring back the memories of the great ‘70s when the dune buggy first roared into life.
