I perched this car for my daughter who is 2. She loves it. It's really fun for her and I can drive her around. I have also had my niece who is 10 months in it and she loved it also. The reasons I gave it a four star is because it is very jerky and if I use the RC to drive my daughter around she can still steer the car and because of her age she drives into things if I don't stop the car completely. Overall it's a great purchase for a younger child.

As adults, we often underestimate the needs of the kids in our life, including how quickly they want to get behind the wheel and drive around the yard or on the miniature pavements in your home. These cars provide the only legal and safe-way through which kids can control around the home. There are qualities that you need to look for when you are purchasing a car for your kid or your toddler. Protection is always an important consideration. You’ll be keeping your eye out for protection, speed, parental remote control and more.

Can you imagine having LED wheels that light up as you drive? You might even be a bit envious of your kid, because this feature stands out to us as the pinnacle of cool. It’s also extremely fast because it has two motors, so older children will be able to satisfy their inner speed demon. It does have parental remote control too, so that speed will never put your child at too much risk.

I wish I had one when I was a kid! So far, the battery usually lasts at least a 1/2 hour or about two miles. There's two speeds for forward and one for reverse. The slow speed goes a little slower than normal walking speed and the fast speed goes about as fast as a slow jogging speed. I like that there's a screw to lock out the faster speed for younger kids (late 2 early 3?). I think this Jeep is good for kids between late 2 - 5 our 6ish? My son just turned 4 and I think he's perfect size for it (of course I do). See the attached video. We've already been riding it for about a half hour at that point. It was on the fast speed and going about normal walking speed. The battery does slowly drain so it does give you a heads-up that its starting to run low on battery. I don't know exactly how long it takes to fully charge it but it's at least a few hours. You do need to assemble the Jeep but if you're good with directions, it's pretty straight forward. It took at least an hour to set up.
Let them explore their more adventurous side in this safe durable easy to drive ride-on. It has an automatic brake which will kick in as soon as their foot is off the accelerator, two speed shifter and a reverse gear which will hit a top speed of 5mph even on grass. The speed lock-out allows parents to decide when they are ready to gear up to max speed.
My kid loves this thing! I would have given it 5 starts, but there were two nit-picky things. First, recommend you don't wait until the last step to put the stickers on it. Put the stickers on as you go. I think that would be so much easier. Second, in 'low' or 'slow' gear, its pretty much worthless on the grass. Once you take the screw out for 'high' or 'fast' gear it does pretty good on the grass.
Toddlers that seem to take an interest in riding toys, especially trains, will be thrilled with this wonderfully cute Thomas Train Set that can be used on or off the included track. The track is 18 feet long that runs in a continuous circle for endless hours of riding fun. It is easy to put together and take apart for moving and storing. The train can go up to one mile per hour on the track and up to two miles per hour off of the track. Once toddlers learn the skills of steering their train, then they can ride off of the track and go almost anywhere they want. Kids as young as one year old can learn how to ride Thomas safely as they build their motor skills and balance talents on the track. The ride uses a six volt battery that is included, but for the sounds a AA battery is needed. Sounds and verbal phrases come from the little yellow whistle when it is pressed. Operation of the vehicle is by a push button which kids learn how to use quickly. They can stop and go easily by manipulating this device. For hours of indoor driving play, Thomas the Train will entertain your toddler happily.
* SHIPPING ... Comes in HUGE heavy box. The box was undamaged, but the left motor broke off in transit, and cracked the frame. I decided to repair it myself instead of waiting for replacement parts (or trying to cram it back in the box), & noticed a design flaw - the rear electric motors (rear wheel drive, each wheel has its own motor) are not attached well at all, I believe there's a good chance they will eventually break off. My suggestion, while assembling it, drill a few extra screws into the frame for extra support.
