The John Deere has maximum speed of 4.5 miles per hour and is a firm favorite in our list. For younger farmers-to be, this electric car can be set to a maximum speed of 2.25 MPH so you don’t have to worry about your younger children getting themselves into trouble. It also features an FM radio to make farming more pleasant and enjoyable. The seat is fully adjustable while the armrests can be easily flipped up for easy access. You can look at the John Deere Ground Force Tractor as the farm equipment equivalent of a 4WD off-roader. The steering wheel is designed to mimic the real thing.

This 12 volt ride on cars main benefit is a rechargeable battery that powers the Jeep Wrangler’s drivetrain to a maximum of 5 miles per hour. Now, if it is a younger princess behind the wheel, Mom and Dad can simply lock-out the high speed setting so it cruises at a safer speed of 2.5 miles per hour. It’s got wide ATV like tires spread across a wide wheelbase with an excellent ground clearance. The tread of the tires gives it superb traction and gripping prowess so kids won’t be skidding off slippery surfaces. Just don’t let them drive over ice and they should be fine.
Now that we’ve summed up the qualities of the best and we’d like to take a moment to let you know how educational these toys can be. Children need to have a wide range of social and life experiences in their younger ages so that they are well adapted and can take on the world without fear. Purchasing one of these toys for your kids will give you the option to teach them so many different things:

The large and wide tires have deep treads for maximum traction. Whether you kid will drive it over grassy and muddy terrain, there’s just no stopping the KFX. And with a wide wheelbase providing optimum stability, there clearly is no terrain that the KFX cannot go. Its steel frame construction guarantees superior durability as well as safety. You won’t fear it might break and put your kid at risk for injury.
When we received our driver’s license, it was the most joyous moment in our lives. It signalled our abilities and our sense of independence. The same is true with children as they drive their electric ATVs, supercars, jeeps, and trucks around the neighborhood or in the park. This helps build their sense of independence which can help boost their self-confidence. This then translates into better self-esteem. The kid’s sense of self-worth is thus, enhanced giving rise to the formation of a healthier self-concept.
I wish I had one when I was a kid! So far, the battery usually lasts at least a 1/2 hour or about two miles. There's two speeds for forward and one for reverse. The slow speed goes a little slower than normal walking speed and the fast speed goes about as fast as a slow jogging speed. I like that there's a screw to lock out the faster speed for younger kids (late 2 early 3?). I think this Jeep is good for kids between late 2 - 5 our 6ish? My son just turned 4 and I think he's perfect size for it (of course I do). See the attached video. We've already been riding it for about a half hour at that point. It was on the fast speed and going about normal walking speed. The battery does slowly drain so it does give you a heads-up that its starting to run low on battery. I don't know exactly how long it takes to fully charge it but it's at least a few hours. You do need to assemble the Jeep but if you're good with directions, it's pretty straight forward. It took at least an hour to set up.
Driving Skills – After the excitement of driving anywhere and everywhere has worn off a bit, you can change the play time up a bit and teach the kids some real driving skills. If you take them to a big parking lot, you can set up a course of cones for them to roll along, and teach your kids how to check their toy for damage, when to stop the toy at a stop-sign, how to park the toy, how to go around a circle, and more. This will introduce the more difficult parts of driving that they will have to deal with later on for their real-life driving test one day. They might protest at first, but if you treat it as a challenge with a reward at the end like an ice-cream or a packet of chips you can be sure they’ll be into it almost at once.
Besides its brilliant resemblance to the real Mercedes CLA45, this electric toy car has a 2.4 Ghz long range parental remote control with the oh-so-very-smart stop functionality for when small tiger takes a wrong turn. Included for the drivers pleasure is a fully functional MP3 player with inputs from SD micro cards, iPhone and iPod alike. This electric car for kids has it all!
Let them explore their more adventurous side in this safe durable easy to drive ride-on. It has an automatic brake which will kick in as soon as their foot is off the accelerator, two speed shifter and a reverse gear which will hit a top speed of 5mph even on grass. The speed lock-out allows parents to decide when they are ready to gear up to max speed.
An electric bike such as this one has more speed power than some of the battery-powered vehicles that are more appropriate for toddlers. Young kids a bit older can ride this bike with confidence once skills are honed to ride safely. It can reach a speed of up to fifteen miles per hour. The large tires ensure the driver a smooth ride, plus easy handling with the hand rear-braking feature and twist-grip throttle. Two 12 volt batteries combine to give the bike it power and it can run up to 45 minutes at a time without charging. The charger comes with the item as do tools and a pit stand to hold the vehicle up when not in use. Kids 6 years old and older are the best ages to enjoy this bike as beginners on a two-wheel vehicle.
The reduction drive and variable speed chain driven motor provide maximum torque and hours of fun. Great rear suspension and 8 inch knobby pneumatic tires allow for a smooth comfortable ride for your child. It is not only lightweight but also strong and durable with a tubular steel frame. Storage is also not an issue as it will store vertically against a wall.
Make sure that you do not let older kids or adults ‘try out’ the electric car or dune buggies, because it is likely that they will damage or even break the dune buggies chassis. This is will cause some stress to your kids so we recommend taking a look at a fidget spinner to calm them down if they get into this situation. Set clear boundaries with family and friends that this is best for younger, lighter people, and that you’ve spent quite a bit of time and money putting it together with your child. You really don’t want to have to explain to your kids why the wheels of their favorite popped out from underneath Uncle Joey’s seat!

By far one of the best Power Wheels on the market and the perfect electric car for your little super hero, the Wheels Batman Dune Racer will set their imaginations alight and allow them to venture off on countless adventures in your back yard, driveway or sidewalk. Roomy enough to accommodate their side kick this is the ultimate ride-on for your little one.

Power Wheels Desert Drifters are the Power Wheels you coveted as a child, but all done up Mad Max-style - complete with spikes, spears, and other automatic weapons (of the foam dart variety). Your kids can pretend to be rogue gangs, by-the-book or disillusioned MFP officers, or just regular folks trying desperately to survive in a dystopian version of the future Land Down Under. These Power Wheels Desert Drifters have a top forward speed of 7.5 mph and can take quite a lot of hits (and driving) before needing a battery recharge. That's right, with Power Wheels Desert Drifters, your kids won't be fighting over gasoline - they'll be fighting over the extension cord. Just make sure they understand who runs Bartertown. YOU run Bartertown!

My kid loves this thing! I would have given it 5 starts, but there were two nit-picky things. First, recommend you don't wait until the last step to put the stickers on it. Put the stickers on as you go. I think that would be so much easier. Second, in 'low' or 'slow' gear, its pretty much worthless on the grass. Once you take the screw out for 'high' or 'fast' gear it does pretty good on the grass.
