Adventures is what helps your child to learn and driving around in the Arctic Cat which is a realistic replica of the original, can stimulate imagination and let them hone their gross motor skills. A great ride-on with many safety features including safety belts and high-speed lock-out as well as power-braking. Two bucket seats for ultimate fun with friends.
It also features 4 large fully-knobbed pneumatic tires as well as rear suspension that intelligently follows any terrain. The classic bucket seat of old is also a mainstay in this particular ride-on toy complete with safety shoulder and lap harness to keep your child in his or her seat. Acceleration is controlled by a thumb-triggered device opposite a hand-operated disc brake located to the rear of the Dune Buggy; pretty much what you would expect from a classic bicycle setup. Storage is a breeze as the Buggy can be flipped on its rear end to allow for instant vertical or standing storage. Its tubular steel frame construction simply means the Dune Buggy can take anything thrown at its way. It can support children and some adults whose weight don’t exceed 120 pounds.
The reduction drive and variable speed chain driven motor provide maximum torque and hours of fun. Great rear suspension and 8 inch knobby pneumatic tires allow for a smooth comfortable ride for your child. It is not only lightweight but also strong and durable with a tubular steel frame. Storage is also not an issue as it will store vertically against a wall.
When buying these items, it is also important to watch at the level and complexity of assembly that is required before your small one can safely run the car. Some cars require only quick assembly while others require extensive assembly which is going to consume a lot of time. There are certain these kids toys that come pre-assembled and you will only need to fix the seats and steering wheel.
So far this thing rocks! Great for the price. Works well- lights and sound are great. The remote is an awwwwesome feature, as we bought this for a 2 year old. With this price point you miss a few frills though. You manually have to switch it from automatic to remote mode, and the button to do this is in the car. It is also controlled by either all manual or all remote. When in remote mode, the child isn't in control at all (which may be good for some!). I just wish my daughter could press the gas and I could steer. However, when using he remote the child can override the steering, though it doesn't sound good when this happens (like it may break?) :/ Also, there is no battery level or charge indicator- you just have to guess and wing it. Having two speed options is great. However, the stop and go is a really jolt-y on the fast speed though. The music feature on horn is really fun. The car has an MP3 connection that works, though nowhere to place any device you'd have in there. Not an important feature to me, so no big deal. Directions were a nightmare- super vague. But all in all, it is a fantastic product for the price! I love it and really hope it lasts a long time!
The branding is Frozen, and the kids will go crazy for it. The storage area at the back is a good touch to ensure the Jeep is good enough to transport picnic supplies or other toys when your child takes her friends out for a ride around the house or the neighborhood. For protection there is a front bumper and rear roll cages that will lessen any impact from collisions with walls or other obstacles.
Two driving speeds are on offer, low speed for 2.5mph cruising or high speed for 5mph racing. It also offers a 2.5mph reverse gear if you need to back up. The electronic power lock braking system kicks into action as soon as their foot lifts from the pedal and the Dune racer will automatically stop. You can also lock your child out of the high speed option when they are just starting out, giving you peace of mind.

New POWerwheel lacing technology tilts the balance in your favor, by using 24 spokes for high-torque pulling power, and reducing the drag of the retarding spokes by only using 12 of them. Since you have half again as many pulling spokes, you gain a 50% power increase right there...but that's not all! By reducing the number of wasteful retarding spokes by 1/3, you get another 33.333333314% more effective power, for a total power increase of 83.333333314%!
*Guaranteed for the life of the wheel, or two weeks, whichever comes first. This guarantee shall be void if the purchaser uses tires, tubes, rim tapes or valve caps or other accessories not expressly approved for use with POWerwheels, nor will it apply to any wheels which have been subject to on-road or off-road use. Void where prohibited, prohibited where void, keep away from children and animals, use only with adequate ventilation.
* WEIGHT ... It's heavy, about 55 pounds. You have to lift it, it's very difficult for an adult to "drive" it. We have stairs to our front porch, which makes this really difficult to move & store. And it's longer & taller than necessary (the front bumper & the roll bars add several inches to the dimensions), and there's no handles, no good place to lift it. If you try lifting it by the roll bars, they will break.
