I wish I had one when I was a kid! So far, the battery usually lasts at least a 1/2 hour or about two miles. There's two speeds for forward and one for reverse. The slow speed goes a little slower than normal walking speed and the fast speed goes about as fast as a slow jogging speed. I like that there's a screw to lock out the faster speed for younger kids (late 2 early 3?). I think this Jeep is good for kids between late 2 - 5 our 6ish? My son just turned 4 and I think he's perfect size for it (of course I do). See the attached video. We've already been riding it for about a half hour at that point. It was on the fast speed and going about normal walking speed. The battery does slowly drain so it does give you a heads-up that its starting to run low on battery. I don't know exactly how long it takes to fully charge it but it's at least a few hours. You do need to assemble the Jeep but if you're good with directions, it's pretty straight forward. It took at least an hour to set up.
As a whole package we might well be repeating ourselves, but almost every part of this car inspires awe. We love the fact that it has safe over-sized wheels, that your child can carry their own set of keys to start it up, and that yet again, the optional parental control will put your mind at ease. BMW fans will not be able to resist this electric car for kids model!

So far this thing rocks! Great for the price. Works well- lights and sound are great. The remote is an awwwwesome feature, as we bought this for a 2 year old. With this price point you miss a few frills though. You manually have to switch it from automatic to remote mode, and the button to do this is in the car. It is also controlled by either all manual or all remote. When in remote mode, the child isn't in control at all (which may be good for some!). I just wish my daughter could press the gas and I could steer. However, when using he remote the child can override the steering, though it doesn't sound good when this happens (like it may break?) :/ Also, there is no battery level or charge indicator- you just have to guess and wing it. Having two speed options is great. However, the stop and go is a really jolt-y on the fast speed though. The music feature on horn is really fun. The car has an MP3 connection that works, though nowhere to place any device you'd have in there. Not an important feature to me, so no big deal. Directions were a nightmare- super vague. But all in all, it is a fantastic product for the price! I love it and really hope it lasts a long time!
We offer a huge array of kids cars from a Lamborghini kids car, a BMW kids ride, we even offer several Mercedes-Benz toddler ride on cars. at Big Toys green country you can go wrong with our selection of battery powered kids cars. some of our favorites are the Lamborghini or MClaren kids cars that have the doors that go up so your child can easily enter or exit the vehicle in style! Safety first – as a parent you can take over the steering and acceleration of the car if your child loses control. This is a fail-safe that all moms and dads will come to love! The MP3 socket is a great feature to let your child drive around the neighborhood sidewalks while singing along to their favorite tunes. The large wheels on the Range Rover ride-on are also great in case of driving over obstacles or stones, because it will easily be able to overcome a bit of a rough terrain.
Helping dad out in the garden will be fun packed with the Peg Perego John Deere Gator. A pulley mechanism ensures they can dump the load in the dump bed easily. Knobby tread wheels let the John Deere Gator travel effortlessly on grass, gravel, dirt or on the driveway.

We definitely love the cute styling of the Disney Frozen Wrangler Jeep; just right for little princesses. It’s great for encouraging independence in driving to build their self-confidence while at the same time enhancing their social and emotional development. It’s also great for psychomotor development particularly spatial intelligence and visual motor coordination.
Adventures is what helps your child to learn and driving around in the Arctic Cat which is a realistic replica of the original, can stimulate imagination and let them hone their gross motor skills. A great ride-on with many safety features including safety belts and high-speed lock-out as well as power-braking. Two bucket seats for ultimate fun with friends.
Another factor we took into account is the authenticity of the product.  We want to remain culturally relevant, whether it is using a keyed-ignition for the design or a push-button starter, a manual or automatic stick shift.  Whatever a child witnesses in their everyday life with Mom and Dad, or other adults on TV, we wanted it to reflect in our products — the look and the feel! Who wouldn’t want the authentic chrome-look of wheels on a Ford F-150 truck?
We recommend involving your tot in the assembly process, so that they can learn how to use basic tools or at least see their mom or dad taking an interest in their toys. You can ask them to hold a screwdriver or bring you the next part that you need to install so that they also feel a part of the process. This could interest them in the mechanical side of motoring, and you never know, they may end up being do-it-yourself fanatics later on in life from these valuable memories.
The third recall in 2000[2] involved the Harley-Davidson motor cycle ride-ons, In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price is recalling about 218,000 battery-powered Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons for repair. The foot pedals, which activate the ride-ons, can stick in the "on" position. Children can be injured when the motorcycle ride-ons fail to stop and strike other objects. The recalled Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons have model numbers 74290, 74293 (with a red body) and 74298 (with a black body). A "Power Wheels by Fisher-Price" logo is located on the left side of the seat on the product, and the model number is located on a label in the battery compartment. Only model numbers 74290, 74293 and 74298 are being recalled. These vehicles are intended for children 3 and older, and the vehicles' speed is 2.5 or 5 mph. Toy, mass merchandise and discount stores, and Harley-Davidson dealerships sold the motorcycle ride-ons nationwide from September 1999 through August 2000 for about $190 for the red vehicle and $700 for the black vehicle.
The KFX features a very sleek and shiny design and styling to mimic the real off-roading ATV. The handle features a throttle mechanism that can propel the KFX to a maximum of 6 MPH. For younger daredevils, Mom and Dad can limit the speed to just 3 MPH so junior will not necessarily injure himself or herself. It’s got a low profile so kids can easily get onto the comfortable seat. There are foot rests allowing this electric car for kids to drive easily and effortlessly.
The car is cute and has fun music and we enjoyed the settings to make the car remote or manually controlled. Really had no problems until recently when our car just randomly stopped holding a charge and would no longer drive. It’s been less than a year with minimal use and always stored indoors. Tried contacting the selling for help troubleshooting or to get a replacement part and they said they don’t do either of those things and since it’s been over 60 days we are out of luck unless we want to buy a brand new car. Would have hoped they would try to be more help. Disappointing for a toy this expensive to work less than a year.
* SPEED / GEARS ... There are actually 4 gears, controlled by a shifter in the middle: Low (2.5 mph), High (5 mph), Reverse and allegedly there's a Park (which i can't find, no matter how much I fiddle with the gear shifter). So realistically there's only 3 gears, though it ~really~ needs a brake or a park (while kids are loading/unloading, etc). It comes with a screw in the shifter to lock out high gear - remove the screw when your kids are ready for more speed.
