Road Rules – even though your kids won’t be driving their toys with full-size cars on the road, they can still be taught how to drive toys properly and obey the law when they’re driving their toys. You can ensure they keep to one side of the road when they drive along. You can also take them to an open space and tell them that when they’re in the appropriate setting they can let loose and roll wherever they want to. If the kids crash into things or other people by mistake – or even on purpose, because we know those types of children are out there – you should explain to them how they have hurt someone or broken property that doesn’t belong to them. That being said, we obviously don’t mean that you should be authoritarian about it, but you can ensure they are aware of their actions even while making an amusing comment.

In 1998, Fisher-Price undertook a monumental recall of up to 10 million Power Wheels 12 volt and Super 6 volt vehicles manufactured since 1986. The recall and repair program was conducted to replace battery fuses and strengthen battery connectors in order to prevent the units from overheating. The main difference of a post recall Power Wheel is that the original "H" (or on very early Power Wheels, "S") connectors are removed and replaced with the larger, black "A" connectors. If a Power Wheels ride-on was built in or before 1998 and has the Black "A" connectors, then the recall work has probably been performed.

Let your parents or other know you are coming by using the real horn. The three speeds are changeable by using the remote as well. The spring suspension system allows for a smooth ride even when the car is controlled by the parent via remote control. Parents can control the direction and speed for the car. An added safety feature is the automatic breaks which kick in when the child removes their foot from the accelerator pedal.

We used a "cover story" to explain the unusual appearance of the wheels, which appeared not to have spokes at all. We concocted a fiction about "disc" wheels and some imaginary advantage in reduction of wind resistance. Everybody fell for it! Actually, the covers degraded performance, particularly in cross winds, but they were necessary for security reasons at the time.
Being a licensed model this Mercedes is a high quality item, and that revs us up! Long range remote capability is a major plus, because even though other models have remotes they are relatively short range. Increased protection is another must-have feature that impresses us about the CLA-45, because the car will never put your child at risk if you can’t reach the remote in time.
My kid loves this thing! I would have given it 5 starts, but there were two nit-picky things. First, recommend you don't wait until the last step to put the stickers on it. Put the stickers on as you go. I think that would be so much easier. Second, in 'low' or 'slow' gear, its pretty much worthless on the grass. Once you take the screw out for 'high' or 'fast' gear it does pretty good on the grass.

Let them explore their more adventurous side in this safe durable easy to drive ride-on. It has an automatic brake which will kick in as soon as their foot is off the accelerator, two speed shifter and a reverse gear which will hit a top speed of 5mph even on grass. The speed lock-out allows parents to decide when they are ready to gear up to max speed.

With the John Deere Ground Force Tractor with Trailer, you child can begin reliving the glory days of farming and tilling the soil. This farming electric car for kids to drive provides a very realistic experience of driving the miniature monster farm equipment with its ultra-large farm tractor wheels. Powered by a 12-volt rechargeable battery, the tractor’s large wheels can roll over any terrain with ease whether it be on a real farm where it’s all dirt, mud, and grass or even right at the park, your very own backyard, or the beach. You kid can also take it for a spin around the neighbourhood complete with a wooden stake-sided trailer.
I bought this for my 18 months old son who wears 3T (He is a big boy). He loves it. It took a few minutes for him to learn how to pedal, but after a few tries, he was able to drive the jeep in the yard. He is still too young to use the steering wheel (doesn't know how to turn right/left), but he loves it. I can see him driving this for the next 2-3 years. On top of that, the price is great. Love this!
As a role-play and social play item, the Ground Force Tractor toy will give your children so much more than a quick spin around the block. They can actually help you out in the garden, pretend that they are farming or working on their own. Four wheel drive is also a rarity with ride-on cars, so this is a key function that we think sets the Ground Force Tractor apart from all the rest. It isn’t designed to ensure your tot looks cool, which is great for those parents who want to get away from the commercial side of these toys.
The John Deere has maximum speed of 4.5 miles per hour and is a firm favorite in our list. For younger farmers-to be, this electric car can be set to a maximum speed of 2.25 MPH so you don’t have to worry about your younger children getting themselves into trouble. It also features an FM radio to make farming more pleasant and enjoyable. The seat is fully adjustable while the armrests can be easily flipped up for easy access. You can look at the John Deere Ground Force Tractor as the farm equipment equivalent of a 4WD off-roader. The steering wheel is designed to mimic the real thing.

The unrivalled cool factor to this Fisher Price buggy will be the deciding one when your toddler shows it off to their friends. It has a darker, striking look that has a bad boy feel to it, but it still has all of the great functions that other models come with. There is a speed lock for high-speed use (so that your child can’t travel faster than your preferred speed) that will keep them safe if they are beginners.
Creativity– one last aspect that must not be underestimated is the imaginative power of play time. Your kids will be making up their own stories about going on adventures to foreign lands, and helping your kids along with some props or atmosphere will be a great idea toencourage them. You can start them off on a treasure hunt that you have designed for their birthday or Christmas, and let them collect clues and trivia along the way. Joining in on this play is another idea to let your toddler act out social roles and get them ready for driving and taking on the real world.
