Oh so pink and pretty is this little roadster perfect for that special little girl in your family! Able to move at two speeds of low and high, the car can go up to two miles an hour. It can be driven on almost any surface area indoors or outdoors and is ASTM certified. This beauty comes with a 12 volt battery that is of course rechargeable for a long life, remote control, auxiliary cord, LED lights gear switch, and easy to follow instructions for usage and assembly. The great thing about this car is that even if your child is not yet ready to handle a car on his or her own, it can be maneuvered by an adult via remote control until they are ready to take control in the driving seat themselves. Therefore, your child will be able to grow into the driving skills needed to operate a battery-powered vehicle. It makes the perfect gift or present for the little driving enthusiast.
Kawasaki is a well-known brand when it comes to motorcycles. In fact, it is one of the preferred brands for motocrossers and daredevils. Of course, this is not the only reason why you should consider giving your child the Kawasaki KFX from the Power Wheels toy division of Fisher-Price. With a very rugged all-terrain vehicle look, this is one of the best kids electric cars you can ever give as a gift.
Beep-beep; watch out for the traffic jam in the hallway. Give your child a kids electric car and let them head out on the open road, or sidewalk. Made to look like real cars, they provide endless hours of enjoyment for children. Choose a car that mimics the one you drive, like a Mercedes, Ford F-150, or Chevy Camaro. Available in a variety of colors, you can choose your child's favorite. Make sure to buy an extra battery, so you can always have one charged and ready to go. The 12V batteries easily plug in and switch out to get the car going. Work on our own car in the garage, and listen to your child giggle as they power down the driveway in their own car. With two seats, they can give siblings or friends a ride. Many children long to be just like mommy and daddy, and a kids electric car lets them do just that. Search the large inventory of cars on eBay to find the one that is right for your child. Let them take the ride of their lives.
* TURNING RADIUS ... isn't great, probably 6-8 feet. You really need a lot of flat space to use this. And this is heavy & bulky to take to the park or something like that. You could throw it in a pickup truck fairly easily, but it's too bulky to transport easily in a minivan, crossover, or sedan. If you don't have a big flat yard, or a school/park right next door, think twice.
Can you imagine having LED wheels that light up as you drive? You might even be a bit envious of your kid, because this feature stands out to us as the pinnacle of cool. It’s also extremely fast because it has two motors, so older children will be able to satisfy their inner speed demon. It does have parental remote control too, so that speed will never put your child at too much risk.
* SPEED / GEARS ... There are actually 4 gears, controlled by a shifter in the middle: Low (2.5 mph), High (5 mph), Reverse and allegedly there's a Park (which i can't find, no matter how much I fiddle with the gear shifter). So realistically there's only 3 gears, though it ~really~ needs a brake or a park (while kids are loading/unloading, etc). It comes with a screw in the shifter to lock out high gear - remove the screw when your kids are ready for more speed.
The unusually large wheels give optimum stability just like the real farm tractor. What you only need now is the correct farm clothing and your child may as well have the best imaginative play of his or her life. They can pretend to load farm produce and equipment on their tractor trailer and haul it to the market. Great for physical, social, and emotional development. Also ideal for the enhancement of children’s cognitive skills. A perfect example of a great toddler electric car.
So there are the roll bars, that distinctive Jeep grille, a roomier rear storage space and roll bars. The doors are real and fully functional ;they open and close with relative ease. The rear storage area of the Power Wheels Disney Frozen Jeep is roomier and can accommodate a good amount of the kids play items. The miniature Jeep Wrangler is available in two speeds- 2.5 mph and 5 mph. Whilst not difficult, it is a bit tricky to assemble, and thats before you (or the baby) tackle the job of placing the stickers.
When buying these items, it is also important to watch at the level and complexity of assembly that is required before your small one can safely run the car. Some cars require only quick assembly while others require extensive assembly which is going to consume a lot of time. There are certain these kids toys that come pre-assembled and you will only need to fix the seats and steering wheel.
A realistic looking car with working doors, clear windshield, dashboard, windows and side-view mirrors that can fold. The headlights are working LEDs and the car makes engine sounds and has a horn. It also offers an MP3 connector so they can travel in style listening to their favorite tunes on their speakers. They can even take their coolies with them storing them safely in the cup holders.
I bought this for my 18 months old son who wears 3T (He is a big boy). He loves it. It took a few minutes for him to learn how to pedal, but after a few tries, he was able to drive the jeep in the yard. He is still too young to use the steering wheel (doesn't know how to turn right/left), but he loves it. I can see him driving this for the next 2-3 years. On top of that, the price is great. Love this!
The third recall in 2000 involved the Harley-Davidson motor cycle ride-ons, In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price is recalling about 218,000 battery-powered Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons for repair. The foot pedals, which activate the ride-ons, can stick in the "on" position. Children can be injured when the motorcycle ride-ons fail to stop and strike other objects. The recalled Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons have model numbers 74290, 74293 (with a red body) and 74298 (with a black body). A "Power Wheels by Fisher-Price" logo is located on the left side of the seat on the product, and the model number is located on a label in the battery compartment. Only model numbers 74290, 74293 and 74298 are being recalled. These vehicles are intended for children 3 and older, and the vehicles' speed is 2.5 or 5 mph. Toy, mass merchandise and discount stores, and Harley-Davidson dealerships sold the motorcycle ride-ons nationwide from September 1999 through August 2000 for about $190 for the red vehicle and $700 for the black vehicle.
Let them explore their more adventurous side in this safe durable easy to drive ride-on. The KFX features a very sleek and shiny design and styling to mimic the real off-roading ATV. The handle features a throttle mechanism that can propel the KFX to a maximum of 6 MPH. For younger daredevils, Mom and Dad can limit the speed to just 3 MPH so junior will not necessarily injure himself or herself. It’s got a low profile so kids can easily get onto the comfortable seat. There are foot rests allowing this electric car for kids to drive easily and effortlessly.
What kid would not want a Dodge Viper SRT to drive up and down the driveway showing off their cool wheels? It simulates the Dodge V10 engine sound and also has horn sounds to alert everybody to your presence. Deep bucket seats and a roll bar make it cool to sit in and it is roomy enough to accommodate not only your child but a friend or sibling as well.
The best 12V car will be able to accommodate greater weights than 6V electric cars. Because of this, they can be operated by kids aged slightly older, typically up to 8 year of olds. The best 6V electric cars are better suited for kids that are aged between 3 and 5 year olds. Because the size and weights of the kids vary, this age range is only an estimate. For the best recommendations, you can also create inquiries or read the retailer’s product description so as to determine if the kids ride will be suitable. Once your kids are slightly older, they may like to play with Lego Star Wars sets or even Lego Technic sets.
* WEIGHT ... It's heavy, about 55 pounds. You have to lift it, it's very difficult for an adult to "drive" it. We have stairs to our front porch, which makes this really difficult to move & store. And it's longer & taller than necessary (the front bumper & the roll bars add several inches to the dimensions), and there's no handles, no good place to lift it. If you try lifting it by the roll bars, they will break.
