The fully functional entertainment system is one of the most comprehensive we’ve ever seen, including an MP3 and MP4 player linked to a color LCD screen. This can keep your child entertained whenever they’re bored, and they don’t even have to go for a drive. They can sit in their car and jam out to music or watch a movie – it really will become their favorite place to be.
So heres a kids ride-on that is simply remarkable in quality, functionality and design. With its two 12V battery powered engine, 3 5 maximum speed capacity, this extremely clean and attractive looking ride has everything your small one could dream of. Included is a remote control allowing parents and siblings to join in on the fun, as well as believe it or not an electric brake system!

* SPEED / GEARS ... There are actually 4 gears, controlled by a shifter in the middle: Low (2.5 mph), High (5 mph), Reverse and allegedly there's a Park (which i can't find, no matter how much I fiddle with the gear shifter). So realistically there's only 3 gears, though it ~really~ needs a brake or a park (while kids are loading/unloading, etc). It comes with a screw in the shifter to lock out high gear - remove the screw when your kids are ready for more speed.
In 1998, Fisher-Price undertook a monumental recall of up to 10 million Power Wheels 12 volt and Super 6 volt vehicles manufactured since 1986. The recall and repair program was conducted to replace battery fuses and strengthen battery connectors in order to prevent the units from overheating. The main difference of a post recall Power Wheel is that the original "H" (or on very early Power Wheels, "S") connectors are removed and replaced with the larger, black "A" connectors. If a Power Wheels ride-on was built in or before 1998 and has the Black "A" connectors, then the recall work has probably been performed.

The large and wide tires have deep treads for maximum traction. Whether you kid will drive it over grassy and muddy terrain, there’s just no stopping the KFX. And with a wide wheelbase providing optimum stability, there clearly is no terrain that the KFX cannot go. Its steel frame construction guarantees superior durability as well as safety. You won’t fear it might break and put your kid at risk for injury.
Adds all the things that makes a girl, a girl, while giving the tough ruggedness of the Jeep Wrangler.  What girl doesn’t want to feel like a Princess and ride in style?  Well this gives your Little Princess that, and then some!  This caters to when she just wants to be a girl, or keepin’ up with the boys!  It has both a supportive design and roomy storage compartment with the Disney Princess theme.
No need to worry if your young driver pushes their new car to the limit as the Power Wheels Dune Racer offers a sturdy steel frame that will support a weight of 130 pounds. The pair of metal sidebars provide stable hand support, while it is smooth rounded edges to protect from cuts and scratches as your child navigates your garden, sidewalk or driveway’s bumps, ruts and even garden hoses.
Respect – you wouldn’t think that this is a huge issue with a toy, but you will find that you can teach your young one how to respect their own property and the property of others. What you will want to do is to teach them how to maintain and clean their car after they’ve gone for a trip. Imagine that they’ve driven right through a muddy puddle, and they expect you to hose down the tires and wipe off the flanks of the car for your kids– stop right there. Here is where you get the cleaning materials ready and show them how to treat their toy with respect, to clean it right after they’ve had their playtime. You can give them a cloth and a miniature bucket of water, and get them to wipe off all of the dirty edges. This might even mold them better drivers. Because they will want to avoid driving in messy puddles (unlikely, but you never know).
The third recall in 2000[2] involved the Harley-Davidson motor cycle ride-ons, In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price is recalling about 218,000 battery-powered Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons for repair. The foot pedals, which activate the ride-ons, can stick in the "on" position. Children can be injured when the motorcycle ride-ons fail to stop and strike other objects. The recalled Power Wheels Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride-ons have model numbers 74290, 74293 (with a red body) and 74298 (with a black body). A "Power Wheels by Fisher-Price" logo is located on the left side of the seat on the product, and the model number is located on a label in the battery compartment. Only model numbers 74290, 74293 and 74298 are being recalled. These vehicles are intended for children 3 and older, and the vehicles' speed is 2.5 or 5 mph. Toy, mass merchandise and discount stores, and Harley-Davidson dealerships sold the motorcycle ride-ons nationwide from September 1999 through August 2000 for about $190 for the red vehicle and $700 for the black vehicle.
This 12 volt ride on cars main benefit is a rechargeable battery that powers the Jeep Wrangler’s drivetrain to a maximum of 5 miles per hour. Now, if it is a younger princess behind the wheel, Mom and Dad can simply lock-out the high speed setting so it cruises at a safer speed of 2.5 miles per hour. It’s got wide ATV like tires spread across a wide wheelbase with an excellent ground clearance. The tread of the tires gives it superb traction and gripping prowess so kids won’t be skidding off slippery surfaces. Just don’t let them drive over ice and they should be fine.

The KFX features a very sleek and shiny design and styling to mimic the real off-roading ATV. The handle features a throttle mechanism that can propel the KFX to a maximum of 6 MPH. For younger daredevils, Mom and Dad can limit the speed to just 3 MPH so junior will not necessarily injure himself or herself. It’s got a low profile so kids can easily get onto the comfortable seat. There are foot rests allowing this electric car for kids to drive easily and effortlessly.
Want to your kids to experience the thrill of riding an ATV right on your backyard? So far this thing rocks! Great for the price. Works well- lights and sound are great. The remote is an awwwwesome feature, as we bought this for a 2 year old. With this price point you miss a few frills though. You manually have to switch it from automatic to remote mode, and the button to do this is in the car. It is also controlled by either all manual or all remote. When in remote mode, the child isn't in control at all (which may be good for some!). I just wish my daughter could press the gas and I could steer. However, when using he remote the child can override the steering, though it doesn't sound good when this happens (like it may break?) :/ Also, there is no battery level or charge indicator- you just have to guess and wing it. Having two speed options is great. However, the stop and go is a really jolt-y on the fast speed though. The music feature on horn is really fun. The car has an MP3 connection that works, though nowhere to place any device you'd have in there. Not an important feature to me, so no big deal. Directions were a nightmare- super vague. But all in all, it is a fantastic product for the price! I love it and really hope it lasts a long time!

A great and awesome "toy" to have for my daughter! My daughter is like a celebrity riding this at the mall! My only problem is that 2nd gear speed is quite dangerously speedy! My little one will be hitting her head to the steering wheel and dangerously stop like she gonna break her neck (and might get a whiplash or something) because it abruptly stops! They should have made this to change slowly like from slow-medium-going fast if use the 2nd gear selection.... Other than that its a cool thing but be careful using this! I also love the fact that it is remote controlled and/or can be manually driven by my daughter when she is old enough. It may be a little pricey but I tell you, it pays off in the long run. This is something that my daughter can use until her pre-teen! I would definitely recommend this as a birthday girt to my friend's little girls! They will have a blast!

* TURNING RADIUS ... isn't great, probably 6-8 feet. You really need a lot of flat space to use this. And this is heavy & bulky to take to the park or something like that. You could throw it in a pickup truck fairly easily, but it's too bulky to transport easily in a minivan, crossover, or sedan. If you don't have a big flat yard, or a school/park right next door, think twice.
