My son loves his jeep, October 22, 2008Highly recommended!!!!
I purchased this jeep for my son’s 3rd birthday. It rides well on the grass, wet or dry. It also runs well on gravel and through a sand patch that we have in the yard. I was very surprised how long the battery lasts. I have read other power wheels reviews in which people say the battery does not last long. I would strongly disagree. If you charge it like the manual says, you shouldn’t have any problems. We have had the jeep for a little over a month now and my son and I are extrememly pleased with it. I can’t wait until my other son is big enough to ride in it with his brother.

Every kid needs one, January 18, 2009I bought this for my almost 3 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! The only issue is when it’s only him in the vehicle (he weighs 35 lbs) the tires spin out. When his siblings come over and ride with him, it works like a charm. We only ride it on the grass, rocks, & sand. We don’t live where he can ride it on pavement. But with the extra weight, it’s not a problem.
Also, we have yet to charge the battery and it’s been a month! Make sure you charge the battery for the recommended time before use and drain the whole thing before charging it again.

Great Gift, December 16, 2008I bought this car for my son’s third birthday….and he absolutely adores it. It was not awful to assemble, but it was a bit time consuming. The package was organized and the directions easy to understand. My son had no difficulty using it and, while I like the fact that it can be “locked” out of the higher gear, he uses it at 5mph with no difficulty. One of the hood latches broke during his first use but it does not impact the use or safety of the product. (I replaced a couple of stickers with real reflectors to add to safety.) I charged the battery for the recommended 18 hrs before our first use and have had no difficulty with poor battery performance.
I’d recommend this car….and while it doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles of other products I considered (no radio, for instance) I think it’s a solid car and my son loves it.

Love it!!, November 25, 2009We got this for our son for his 2nd birthday. He loves it!! It’s pretty durable – the first thing he did when he got it was drive it right into a tree. His steering is better now, but he still knocks it into stuff and none of the plastic has broken or cracked. The tires are a little slippery on wet grass, but all of these have the plastic wheels, so the only thing you can do is buy those rubber traction things on ebay. The battery lasts a long time too.

AWESOME!, January 21, 2009I purchased the Jeep Rubicon for my 4 year old boy for xmas. Putting it together was pretty easy. I did not know if my son would be able to drive the jeep since he has never driven a motorized vehicle. My 4 year old drove the jeep with ease and after a few minutes had a full understanding on using low gear, high gear(faster than I thought)and reverse. My son loves driving it and he asks me all of the time if the weather is nice enough so he can drive the jeep. I am so glad I made this purchase! The only problem is his 14 year and 13 year old brothers wishes they could drive it too.
